Richard Arsenault Organizes Baylor MDL Judicial Summit
Richard Arsenault, in conjunction with Baylor University School of Law, has orchestrated the creation and execution of the 2023 Baylor MDL Judicial Summit. This prestigious event, hosted June 19-20, 2023 in Aspen, Colorado, will focus on Multidistrict Litigation best practices and panel topics will include “Ethical Conundrums Associated with Litigation Funding and Non-Lawyer Firm Ownership,” “The Increasing Role of Technology and Artificial Intelligence in the MDL Space,” and more. In attendance to this invitation only conference will be a collaboration of the nation’s leading litigators and industry experts. Richard has over 300 articles and presentations to his credit and has authored many Law Review articles including one published in Federal Courts Law Review. Among other writings, he co-authored the chapter on Multidistrict Litigation in an ABA treatise. Richard was also asked by Judge Heyburn, JPML Chair, to participate in the Panel’s “Multidistrict Litigation Study Project”. He has personally participated in negotiating over $3.5 billion in complex litigation settlements in the last five years.
