Amber Laborde

Attorney Amber LaBorde is a Deville, Louisiana native, and she and her husband have five children – one boy and four girls. They also have two dogs, one bunny, and a flock of chickens. An avid outdoorswoman, Amber enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, and cooking for friends and family.

Prior to law school, Amber obtained her ADN from Louisiana State University Alexandria before obtaining her BSN at American Sentinel University. Amber continued to work full time while earning her Juris Doctor. She graduated Cum Laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2023. Amber’s clinical nursing foundation is in the intensive care unit caring for critically ill patients. She is experienced in both acute and long-term care, as well as infection prevention and healthcare case management. Amber has legal experience in both Mass Torts and Medical Malpractice, and began working for Neblett, Beard & Arsenault in the fall of 2023. Amber’s practice areas at our firm include Mass Torts and Social Security Disability.

When asked why she chose to pursue a career in law, Amber responded: “When I was in high school, I knew I wanted to be an attorney and my original college major was pre-law. Life threw me some curveballs and I decided not to try law school. I chose nursing because I knew I would always be able to find a job in healthcare. I never stopped dreaming of law school and finally, the circumstances aligned to enable me to pursue my dream.”
