Richard Arsenault Chairs 30th Annual Admiralty Symposium
Attorney Richard Arsenault, program chair since its inception, chaired the LSBA’s 30th Annual Admiralty Symposium on Friday, September 15, 2023 in New Orleans. This symposium brought together experienced Admiralty Law practitioners from both sides of the “V” to provide their insight and expertise in key maritime topics and current issues. The firm also covered the registration fee for select students and their professors from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, and Tulane University School of Law. Among other writings, he co-authored the chapter on Multidistrict Litigation in an ABA treatise. Richard was also asked by Judge Heyburn, JPML Chair, to participate in the Panel’s “Multidistrict Litigation Study Project”. He has personally participated in negotiating over $3.5 billion in complex litigation settlements in the last five years.
