The Legal Difference - Feed the Teachers

Every Thursday, Neblett, Beard & Arsenault attorneys appear on a special segment of Good Day Cenla – The Legal Difference – to talk about frequently asked questions regarding legal matters, community involvement, and more! This week, attorney Wes Gralapp and employee Ashton talk about the firm's community involvement project, Feed the Teachers. This program's goal is to feed 1,000 teachers in Rapides Parish by the end of 2019. The firm purchases plate lunches from local nonprofit organizations when they have a fundraiser, and deliver the lunches along with some NBA goodies to a Rapides Parish school for the faculty and staff to enjoy. Wes shares the reason behind the lunches as well. The firm couldn't keep up with the many plate lunch requests received from so many outstanding organizations, so we decided to give them to the people who deserve them - teachers. Our teachers dedicate themselves to educating the next generation, and their efforts should be recognized. We wanted to make sure that each faculty member in our parish knows how much we appreciate them for the hard work they do in our communities and for our children. The program picks up again in Fall 2019 once school is back in session, and the firm will continue towards 1,000 teachers fed!
