Friends Without A Border Receives Donation from NBA in Support of their Work

Friends Without A Border is a non-profit organization founded in 1996. Their mission, which started with the goal of providing accessible healthcare to the children of Southeast Asia, has expanded exponentially in the past 20 years. They now work to provide healthcare solutions to developing countries by providing medical care to underprivileged children, offer continuing education to healthcare professionals, and improving the overall health, nutrition, and hygiene of local communities who may not otherwise have access to healthcare.

To date, Friends Without A Border has treated over 1.7 million children through their community outreach programs and through their hospitals in Cambodia, Angkor Hospital for Children, and Laos, Lao Friends Hospital for Children.

The work that Friends Without A Border does would not be possible without the support of individuals and organizations who generously donate to their cause. Neblett, Beard and Arsenault has therefore pledged a donation in support of Friends Without A Border, so that they may continue to make a difference in the lives and wellbeing of children and healthcare professionals in Southeast Asia. An average of 100 patients arrive at the hospital each day seeking care, most of whom suffer from a treatable or preventable illness.

The contributions Friends Without A Border receives allows the hospital to treat those children, and provide the education families need to help prevent future illness. Our firm understands that the health and wellbeing of a child is invaluable, and we will continue to support Friends Without A Border as they work towards creating a brighter, healthier future for the children of Southeast Asia.

Wrote Chief Administrative Officer Akiko Arai to Richard Arsenault, “On behalf of our patients, their families and staff, we sincerely thank you.”
