Neblett, Beard & Arsenault is proud to announce its partnership with the Alexandria Crisis Intervention Team program for their 2020 training events. The CIT program is an innovative, community-based approach to improve the outcomes of law enforcement serving as first responders to mental health crises. These programs create connections between law enforcement, mental health providers, hospital emergency services and individuals with mental illness and their families. Through collaborative community partnerships and intensive training, CIT improves communication, identifies mental health resources for those in crisis and ensures officer and community safety.
Our firm has agreed to cover the cost of the CIT program pins, which each APD officer will receive after completing their training this November. The CIT team is dedicated to promoting the safety and wellbeing of our law enforcement and our communities, and we are proud to help them make a difference in Cenla.
