David Walker has successfully represented clients for Neblett, Beard & Arsenault, LLC over a career that spans more than thirty years. Mr. Walker came to the firm following a judicial clerkship. He is recognized by his peers and has appeared eight years in “Louisiana Super Lawyers,” a publication of Thomson Reuters. Mr. Walker maintains the highest “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been selected by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers.
Focusing on personal injury, Mr. Walker has decades of experience and has been retained in over two thousand injury cases. He represents clients concentrating on: Mesothelioma Asbestos Exposure; 18 Wheeler/Trucking collisions; Tour Bus/MotorCoach/Van accidents; Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; Offshore, Admiralty, Jones Act, and Maritime Law; Death on the High Seas; Insurance Contract Coverage; Car Wrecks; and Products Liability Law.
Mr. Walker is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. His past experience includes a $7 Million truck injury case; a $4.5 Million 18-wheeler injury case; and serving as Co-Lead Counsel in a multi-million dollar helicopter crash death case in the Gulf of Mexico. He appeared before the Supreme Court of Louisiana and was successful in a UM insurance case, providing $1 Million to compensate his client instead of the $100,000 suggested by the insurance company.
Mr. Walker is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas. He is a member of the Louisiana and Texas State Bar Associations, American Association for Justice, Crossroads American Inns of Court, and the AAJ Interstate Trucking Litigation Group. Mr. Walker earned his law degree in 1984 from Southern University Law Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, cum laude, was on the Moot Court Board and was a candidate of the Law Review. Mr. Walker also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
