Dustin C. Carter is a member of Neblett, Beard & Arsenault’s Mass Tort and Complex Litigation Group. His litigation focus has been on defective medical devices and pharmaceutical drugs, toxic torts, and consumer class actions. Dustin’s practice also includes large, complex single event matters, disasters and casualties, including: asbestos/mesothelioma claims, aviation litigation, negligent security and premises liability matters, large trucking accidents, hurricane claims, and admiralty/maritime claims. Dustin has been instrumental in multiple trials resulting in nearly $2 billion in verdicts.
Dustin is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Mississippi. He also holds a national professional certification in mediation issued by the National Association of Certified Mediators. Dustin was recently appointed to serve as a Neutral/Mediator in Louisiana’s 24th Judicial District in Jefferson Parish in the Hurricane Ida property damage litigation centralized there.
Dustin is an active speaker on complex and mass tort litigation matters, and has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 under 40 Plaintiff Civil Trial Lawyer and a Louisiana Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Dustin graduated from Mississippi College School of Law, with magna cum laude honors, and served as the Chief Executive Editor of the Law Review, Internal Competition Problem Editor, Brief Writer, as well as Brief Writer and Advocate for the Moot Court Board.
